The University of Montana‘s Department of Anthropology offers many archaeological field opportunities, several of which are offered in partnership with the Montana Anthropogenic Research Cooperative (MT-ARC). This blog seeks to highlight the work done in the field by UM students, faculty, and research partners and make it available tot the general public. We will primarily post entries directly from student’s field notebooks during the course of summer field schools, archaeological method classes, and gra duate level research projects.
